The 45th Annual Harambee Festival
This year’s theme is “Harambee! Keeping it Clean & Green.”
Saturday October 26th at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Dallas from 10 am until 6pm.
Harambee is a Swahili word meaning “Let’s Pull Together” or “Unity.” A full day of Family Fun! While the kids are rock climbing, riding the mechanical bull, in the photo booth or just enjoying any of the interactive games the adults can take advantage of the Health Screenings, Job Fair, Art expos and enjoy the live performances. Remember the lives of those we’ve lost during our Memorial Celebration.
"Harambee is now the longest-running festival of its kind -- a unity festival that now brings together all cultures." - Norma Adams Wade DALLAS MORNING NEWS
