Habitat Workday

Outdoor tasks in our prairie and forest for conservation of habitat and visitor services, beginning at 8am. Volunteers should be 12 or older. Groups welcome; please let the coordinator know before the event so work can be allotted appropriately.

Work continues on maintenance of nature center trails and invasive plant removal.
Come prepared for the environment: long pants, close-toed shoes, hat, water, sun protection, poison ivy, insect protection, thorns, rocks, roots and other tripping hazards.

Bathrooms, water fountains, and picnic tables available for use.

Bonus: 12:30pm, lecture regarding conservation plans in Cedar Hill, presented by the City Manager of Cedar Hill, Greg Porter.
