View the Dallas Skyline and Garden in Founders Park

The Friends of Oak Cliff Parks invite you to join us for summer clean up at Founders Park . Right across the Trinity from downtown Dallas, Founders Park is home to several butterfly gardens and a pocket of green in north Oak Cliff.

We will be doing general garden clean up, replanting beds, weeding, mulching and watering.  No gardening experience is needed.  Volunteers can park in the lot off Zang Blvd. at Oakenwald St. Walk on the path in the park toward downtown Dallas and we will meet at the Lion Sculpture.  

Volunteers should dress for a warm morning and wear sturdy shoes.  Sun hats are encouraged.  If you have a water bottle, bring it along. Friends of Oak Cliff Parks have gloves, hand tools , sun screen and insect repellent to lend and will bring water and snacks.

Volunteers may attend on either the 13th or the 20th or both days.  They do not need to attend both days.
