More Details

This is a great opportunity for volunteers who would love gardening but need to set their own schedule.  The Friends of Oak Cliff Parks restore and maintain horticulture in four Oak Cliff Parks:  Founders, Lake Cliff, the Japanese Garden at Kidd Springs, the Memorial Garden at Kidd Springs and the Kiest Park Conservation Area.  Volunteers can select a section of a formal garden, one of the many butterfly gardens and monarch way stations located in the parks,or a section of the nature trail in the Kiest Conservation Area as their own garden to maintain.  The Friends of Oak Cliff Parks will provide a mentor to help you select your garden, to help you get started and answer questions you may have as you work in your garden.
