At Dallas Animal Services, we’re helping Dallas be a safe, compassionate, and healthy place for people and animals. Help us launch our new Dallas90 plan by lending your heart, time, and talents.

***Volunteers may be subject to wet kisses, warm snuggles, and happy hearts***

Dallas90 Dog Runners program is a win-win: the dogs get exercise and socialization, which makes them happier, healthier and more adoptable, while volunteers get to enjoy a fun run with a delightful pooch. Our dogs love this program and we love the epic nap they take afterwards.

You can make a difference in our dogs lives! Volunteer Orientation is required before your first shift. Sign up for an orientation shift, pass a background check, and take K9 Handling.

Volunteer Orientation schedule:

  • 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, 6-8 pm
  • 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, 10-12 pm
  • Please sign up for a date and we will contact you with more details.

Thank you for volunteering with Dallas Animal Services!
