Branch Out Dallas - Kimball High School
The City of Dallas introduced a new program last winter to provide residents a tree at no cost for their home. The registration period has ended and it is time to focus on tree pick-up. On March 9, 2019, volunteers will help City staff check-in registrants, color code trees, load 2700 trees into the vehicles of the people who signed up for the program. There are five types of trees and six pick-up locations: St. Monica Catholic School, W. H. Adamson High School, Justin F. Kimball High School, Bishop Lynch High School, Kathlyn Joy Gilliam Collegiate Academy, and C.A. Tatum, Jr. Elementary School.
Trees are vital to the environment. In a city that is growing as fast as Dallas, we can't have enough trees. Helping to make this program possible at no cost to residents with a home in the City, is critical to the health of people and to the environment of our neighborhoods and business districts.
We look forward to meeting you!
