***This posting is for a 3-4 hour weekly commitment for at least a period of 4 months.***

Hospice patients in the DFW Metroplex would love to have someone spend time with them.  No special skills needed.  Just a compassionate heart with a desire to help others.  Our volunteers interact with our patients by reading to them, playing cards, talking and even doing puzzles.
There is no hands-on care for the patient provided by the volunteer. This opportunity works well for people who would like patient contact experience for school, giving back or just to get your foot in the door with healthcare professions. You don't have to have any formal experience or be licensed. We will train you and place you with a senior in your community. This position is flexible and can be done on weekends too. You must be at least 18 years old for this opportunity. If you have any questions or would like to be a blessing to someone else, please contact us at: volunteer.carepath@gmail.com
