More Details

At Dallas Animal Services, we’re helping Dallas be a safe, compassionate, and healthy place for people and animals. Don't miss out on this AMAZING opportunity to help save pets at Dallas Animal Services from the comfort of your own home!

Attend one of our upcoming Foster Orientations to learn how to become a foster, the benefits, and how donating your time and heart will save a pets life. We have animals of all sizes and ages! Volunteers will attend an orientation and interview before being approved.

*All medical & most supplies are covered by DAS, you simply provide food and a happy home.*

KITTENS KITTENS KITTENS!

We need help with kittens of all ages from 1-8 weeks old!  Want to bottle feed?  Great!  Don't want to bottle feed?  No problem!  We have all types of kittens at all stages of growth that need your help!

This is a fabulous opportunity where you will only need to keep the kittens 1-8 weeks (depending on age of kitten when they enter the program) because the kittens will be going to our Everyday Adoption Center in PetSmart at Coit/Campbell for adoption just 3 days after their spay/neuter surgery when they are 8 weeks old.

5-8 WEEK OLD PUPPIES

These are puppies that are already weaned onto dry kibble, so do not require bottle feeding.

This is a fabulous opportunity where you will only need to keep the puppies 1-5 weeks (depending on age of puppy when they enter the program) because the puppies will be going to our Everyday Adoption Center in PetSmart at Coit/Campbell for adoption just 3 days after their spay/neuter surgery when they are 8 weeks old.

ADULT DOGS FOR TRANSPORT

We have opportunities to send dogs to other shelters, mainly in the NE United States, but also in other states, where they will find adoptive homes.  This is our EASIEST foster opportunity!!  These dogs only need help 1-14 days before a transport, so you can SAVE A LIFE by just having a dog in your home for one night!!

ADULT DOGS FOR ADOPTION

Do you have room for a grown-up dog for a bit longer?  These are our pets of highest need for rescue here at Dallas Animal Services.  You can pick an adult dog that will fit into your family and then help get him adopted through social media and attending adoption events with your foster.
