More Details

Caring for an aging veteran or family member can take a toll on the caregiver. When you take care of a family member Legacy Corps takes care of YOU. Legacy Corps is a unique program that helps family caregivers through the biggest challenge of their lives.

Many family members caring for a love don with a chronic or debilitating illness become isolated and depressed by their caregiving responsibilities, and my soon find themselves on the receiving end of care. Legacy Corps matches thoroughly vetted and highly trained volunteers with family caregivers in need of a break - allowing caregivers time to recharge their own batteries.

Legacy Corps volunteers commit to a full year of service which provides consistency and reliability.
