The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade will be January 21, 2019! We need volunteers to help us make this event a success. Do you have what it takes to make the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade a fun and safe event? If so, join us!

The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade will be January 21, 2019.  The parade requires spotters along the parade route and many other duties.  
Some of the volunteer duties include:
  • Energetic golf cart drivers
  • Spotters along the parade route, assisting staff with feeding schools at Fair Park parking lot, check in parade participants, and parade line up and other duties as assigned. 
The parade begins at Holmes and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.  with an estimated 200,000 spectators in attendance.  We need your help! For more information about our Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Gala and our week of events, please visit www.dallasmlkcenter.com. 
** Please note, if you need verified volunteer hours for your high school or college, this is an excellent opportunity for you. We welcome all individual, civic, family, and organized groups.
