NTxGiving Day: North Texas Performing Arts
North Texas Performing Arts (NTPA) is dedicated to developing the character of youth through quality performing arts education and family entertainment. We have classes, auditions, camps and productions in Dallas, Fairview, Frisco and Plano. We have two permanent locations in Plano and Fairview, and we perform at venues all over the North Dallas metroplex.
Date: Friday, September 14
Three shifts of 10 people each
Shift 1 – 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Shift 2 – 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Shift 3 – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Location: The Shops at Willow Bend, on the 2nd floor near Dillards just off of Parking Garage D. Please be sure to park in covered parking in Garage D.
Volunteers are needed to:
- Categorize, organize
and make minor repairs to costumes
- Enter costumes into
costume database program
- Categorize, organize, and clean Set Build 1 and 2.
Details: Volunteers are needed to categorize, organize, make minor repairs, and enter costumes into a costume database program. At North Texas Performing Arts, costumes are made available to students at a nominal charge for their programs in Plano, Fairview, Frisco, and Dallas. Their new costume closet at the Shops of Willow Bend has a costume closet and nearly a football-field-length of costume racks for clothing. NTPA will provide all supplies necessary for costume organization. The NTPA Costume Coordinator and/or Volunteer Coordinator will be present at each of the shifts.
