During our special needs field trips, students interactively learn about our small animals in the Critter Cabin.  Then, students head out to the Nature Trail, joined by our miniature horses, for an activity geared towards animals and insects found outdoors.  Afterwards, the students enjoy a picnic lunch on the Party Porch and free time on the swings, basketball court, and other outdoor activities.  Following lunch, we head to the barn to interactively learning about horses, pigs and goats.  Learning activities are geared towards each group's learning level.

We have hosted visits by more than 6 independent school districts and many private schools. Volunteers enjoy the day along with the students by assisting with activities and being a watchful eye ensuring their safety.  Seeing the students interact with animals, some for the first time, is extremely rewarding.  Many students have overcome their fear of animals at our Ranch.
Field trips are held weekly during the fall school term and then again in the spring.
