Education Adult Volunteer Instructor
Adult Volunteer Instructor opportunities are available to help educate and prepare economically disadvantaged youth with the soft skills needed to be employed.
Volunteers will provide job readiness training teens ages 14-17 with a class size of 5 to 15 students. The Volunteer Instructor will be responsible for learning the material and teaching a 1 1/2 hour course on a specific career development topic: Work Ethics, Professionalism, Character Development, Resume Writing, Interviewing Techniques, Customer Service, Effective Communication, and Money Management.
Excellent communication skills
Prior experience working with youth
Professional appearance and demeanor
Must be at least 18
2 hours whenever the program is scheduled.
