Thank you,
Bright Light Volunteers

By volunteering in Cuba, you will help to strengthen U.S. - Cuban relations by being an ambassador for the United States. Bright Light Volunteers works in the small farming town of Viñales, which is located in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This area is a UNESCO World Heritage site because of the traditional farming practices that have remain unchanged in over 200 years. You will work side by side with Cuban farmers on an organic vegetable farm, learning about their practices and their culture. In addition to volunteer work, you will also participate in hands on cultural activities including Spanish immersion, salsa lessons, horseback riding, and so much more!

In addition to volunteering in Viñales, side programs in Havana and other cities are also possible, making your time in Cuba as well-rounded and as insightful as possible. All projects are coordinated with the Cuban government, ensuring that the service we are involved in have the full support of the communities in which we serve.
