More Details

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Denton County is in need of mentors to be matched with youth who are ready to meet their Big Brother or Big Sister. The commitment is to meet with your Little Brother or Sister 2-4 times a month for one year or more. Volunteers coordinate their activities and time through the parent. Most Bigs and Littles do low-key activities like going to the park, free or low cost community events, Big Brothers Big Sisters events, the library etc. Volunteers and their Littles can set goals, create projects, and find new activities to do together to help educate and broaden their Littles horizons. More importantly, your developing a friendship, spending time, and encouraging someone else to be their best!

Volunteers must be 18 or older, have a Driver's License, Auto Insurance, and consent to various background checks and an interview before being accepted to the program.

We need Big Brothers and Sisters, however, we are in need of more Big Brothers at this time due to the number of Little Brothers on our wait-list!
