Help Tree of Life sweep the streets with 7 Magnetic Sweepers on Saturday 5/7/2016 at 9 am. The debris removal process from the Tornado disaster on 12/26 has left a lot of metal debris in the storm area streets in  Rowlett. We need your help to sweep the streets.

We will meet at 9:00 am at Tree of Life for sweeper training with Amanda Maddox, TOL Disaster Relief Coordinator. Volunteers need to sign a waiver before being sent out in the field.  The waiver can be printed here:  http://www.treeoflifelcms.org/uploads/disaster001.pdf

Once trained, a specific zone will be assigned for your team to sweep. Your team will need to provide transportation to the assigned zone. We will lend your team Lutheran Disaster vests to wear while out in the field.

Please eat breakfast before you arrive for training and bring your own gloves and water.  Wear good walking shoes.

If we get a large enough group we will pick up trash / debris in the street.
