Goodwill Dallas Individual Volunteer Orientation
Are you interested in helping North Texas residents transform their lives? Do you have a passion for helping those with disabilities and disadvantages? If you answered yes, a volunteer placement at Goodwill Dallas is for you!
Join us for a one hour volunteer orientation exploring the programs and services provided by Goodwill Dallas. During this orientation you will get a sneak peak into Goodwill Dallas' operations, fill out a volunteer application and choose a volunteer position that best fits your skills and schedule.
When: First Wednesday of every month
Time: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Where: Goodwill Dallas' Jim Collins Family Center

Please note that all volunteers age 14-17 must have a parent or guardian present during the orientation as well as all volunteer hours served with Goodwill Dallas.
Upon completion of the orientation, background checks will be ran for each prospective volunteer and you will be notified of your ability to volunteer within two business days – so please remember to bring your I.D.. Please note that any prospective volunteer with a previous theft charge will be asked to volunteer in our warehouse only, and any individual with an assault or weapons charge will not be eligible to volunteer with Goodwill Dallas in any capacity.
Please show up early, orientation starts immediately at the designation start time. We are very cognizant of ensuring the volunteer orientation last only one-hour and do not allow participants into orientation who arrive later than the designated start time.
