Outdoor Education?  Audubon nature centers main mission is education and connecting to the outdoors.  This is an opportunity to open the eyes of young children to nature - often less privileged children who don't have access to the outdoors for fun and exploration. If you love working with kids, come work side-by-side with nature educators in Dogwood's Eco Investigations school program, helping students on hikes, animal encounters, and other hands-on learning activities. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours, Tu-Fri 9:30a.m.- 1:30p.m. Educators will also have the chance to work in summer camp programs at Dogwood Canyon each summer. Volunteers must be at least 18+ and pass a background check.
